The TrekPod GO! PRO Essentials Kit from Trek-Tech is a compact, versatile camera support kit that provides a wide variety of ways to steady your camera, camcorder, binoculars, spotting scope, and even yourself. The TrekPod GO! PRO is an aluminum monopod, tripod and hiking stick in a single 1.5 lb product.
With the included MagMount PRO ballhead, the GO! PRO has a maximum working height as a monopod of 5.79', and as a tripod of 5.48'. The MagMount PRO ballhead uses a special rare earth magnet with a uniquely designed anti-rotation feature that allows you to mount just about any camera or optical device (up to 13.5 lb) quickly and securely. The MagMount PRO incorporates a two-stage ball head and rotation locking system which is engaged and disengaged with its oversized indexing thumb lock. It also has a built-in safety lock to keep your gear in place.
Using the included Leg Adapter, you can use the GO! PRO as low as 18". If you need to be lower than that, just attach the MagMount PRO to the included T-Pod tabletop tripod and you can work as close as 9.7" from the ground. If you attach the ballhead to the T-Pod legs, you can work as close as 4.75"--perfect for macro work.
The included OptiMount takes the Essentials Kit to the next level in flexibility. Just mount the MagMount PRO to the OptiMount and attach to the GO! PRO or T-Pod center column. With its open mouth design the OptiMount is easy to position and adjusts to any height or level for your application or needs. The entire GO! PRO Essentials Kit folds down to 23.25" long and fits into the included travel case--convenient for carry-on luggage.
